Challenge

Focus development on domain logic and the interactions between application components.

Our contribution

NPF I.V.A. created the LogicProgram platform: the LP language, the LP-Studio development environment and LP-machine runtimes.

Solution

A program consisted of connections between configurable components, stored in XML. Execution on different operating systems relied on the relevant LP-machine and the availability of the required components.

Outcome

The platform brought together a language for describing programs, tools for constructing them and runtime environments. Developers could define component interactions and execute the resulting configuration using the corresponding LP-machine.
